Through our construction division, Garrison Construction, we are experts at rehabilitating properties that are currently occupied. The professionals of Garrison Construction are especially skilled at performing this kind of work with minimal disruption to residents.
Weston Associates completed the rehabilitation of eight properties throughout the state of Maine. The project was completed with a Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, which enabled us to purchase the properties and provide significant renovations. Processed as one transaction, it was one of the largest tax-exempt bond deals done in the state of Maine.
We completed the conversion of two expiring Section 236 properties through the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. Long-term affordability was accomplished at the two properties and the threat of being rent-burdened was eliminated.
