Over the past four decades, Weston Associates, Inc. has acquired, developed and rehabilitated several thousand apartment units nationwide.

Our specialty is in acquiring underperforming residential complexes in need of revitalization and transforming them into modern, comfortable facilities that are attractive and affordable to the families and individuals who call them home. 

In 2016 we celebrated the completion of the preservation and rehabilitation of a portfolio of 8 properties throughout the state of Maine. Completed as a 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credit execution Weston was able to purchase the properties and provide significant renovations to the properties. Processed as one transaction, it was one of the largest tax exempt bond deals done in the state of Maine.

In 2017 we completed the conversion of 2 expiring use Section 236 properties through the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD). Long term affordability was realized and the threat of households becoming rent burdened was extinguished. Also in 2017 we secured the FHA insured financing and commenced the 22 million dollar rehabilitation of an affordable property in Boston.

Through our construction division Garrison Construction, we are experts at rehabilitating properties that are currently occupied. Working in residents’ homes requires a unique combination of training, experience, and sensitivity.
