Over the past four decades, Weston Associates, Inc. has acquired, developed and rehabilitated several thousand apartment units from Maine to South Carolina.

Our specialty is in acquiring underperforming residential complexes in need of revitalization and transforming them into modern, comfortable facilities that are attractive and affordable to the families and individuals who call them home. Some examples include Willow Apartments in Lynn, MA, Greentree Apartments in Augusta, ME and South Cove Plaza in Boston.

Through our construction division Garrison Construction, we are expert at rehabilitating properties that are currently occupied. Working in residents’ homes requires a unique combination of training, experience and sensitivity. The professionals of Garrison Construction are especially skilled at performing this kind of work with minimal disruption to residents.

In 2001, we broadened our scope of services to spearhead the development of a 360,000 sq. ft. office and retail project at 131 Dartmouth Street in Boston’s Back Bay. In 2005, we were chosen by Suffolk University to develop a ten-story administrative and classroom facility in downtown Boston.

In 2009, Weston Associates, in collaboration with the US Department of HUD, the US Treasury and Maine State Housing, undertook the preservation and rehabilitation of Greentree Apartments in Augusta Maine. The results created better living conditions and facilities for residents, a reported decrease in area crime rates and a noticeable improvement in the aesthetics of the surrounding neighborhood.

In 2011, we completed Phase I of Basilica Court, a 240,000 sq. ft. office and residential complex in Boston’s Mission Hill neighborhood that has achieved recognition for excellence in historical preservation and environmental sensitivity.

Also, in 2013, Weston Associates, rezoned and permitted a 90-unit assited living complex in the heart of Watertown MA, a thriving residential and commerical suburban community about five miles west of Boston.
